| Application Administrator |
1. Assigns each department a section of Softium Intelligent Office to be its sole responsibility. 2. Approves all personnel’s access to Softium Intelligent Office. 3. Establishes meetings (quarterly) to interact with department administrators to explain the competitive implications of corporate vision and mission. 4. Spreads competitive awareness among department administrators by constantly reminding them to incorporate competitive attitudes into their departmental plans. 5. Reviews departments’ inputs as they relate to the company’s plans. 6. Discusses specific competitive information with the contributing department administrator. 7. Informs a contributing department administrator how a department-contributed information helped the company improve its business situation. 8. Identifies the departments with the strongest contributions to the program and maintains their levels of involvement. 9. Identifies the departments with the weakest contributions to the competitive effort and stimulates their levels of involvement. 10. Rewards the contributing department administrators and their personnel. 11. Contributes and enters his/her own competitive information into Softium Intelligent Office. 12. Converts incoming raw data into real world meaningful business conclusions as they relate to the company. 13. Periodically reviews aging information and either classify it for historical purposes or remove it. |
| Department Administrators |
Each department administrator: 1. Spreads competitive consciousness within the department by constantly reminding department personnel to incorporate competitive attitudes into their jobs. 2. Gradually enlists personnel from the department and introduces them to Softium Intelligent Office to participate in the competitive program. 3. Sets-up meetings (quarterly) that include department participants. 4. Discusses specific competitive information with contributing participant during regular department meetings. 5. Informs a contributing member how his/her specific contribution(s) helped the department and the company. 6. Identifies members who are not contributing and stimulates their inputs through incentives. 7. Rewards contributing participants. 8. Converts personnel’s competitive inputs into real world meaningful conclusions as they relate to the department. 9. Develops sources of information as they relate to his/her regular job. 10. contributes with and enters his/her own competitive information into Intelligent Office. 11. Participates with his/her own personal know-how towards the competitive effort. 12. Contributes with the department’s know-how towards the competitive effort. 13. Reviews department-related aging information and either classify it or remove it. 14. Addresses new competitive developments and how they relate to the well being and the future of the department and the company. 15. Consults Softium Intelligent Office for information before making department and job decisions. |
| Department Personnel |
Each Authorized staff member: 1. Reviews Intelligent Office under corresponding name for reports from others and/or responses to his/her inquiries. 2. Periodically (at the recommendation of the department Administrator) reviews information related to the job and make suggestions regarding deleting and/or keeping information. 3. Develops reliable sources of information. 4. Maintains sources of useful information. 5. Disposes of useless information and its sources. 6. Participates with his/her personal know-how towards the competitive effort. 7. Enters competitive data when encountered. 8. Consults Intelligent Office before making job-related decisions. |
| Corporate Officers |
Each Officer: 1. Cultivates sources of information. 2. Enters/maintains information in Softium Intelligent Office. 3. Develops competitive needs and communicate them to the concerned parties in the company. 4. Sends competitive feedback to other participants when requested. 5. Periodically (quarterly) conducts reviews of competitors to examine the information accuracy and the sources’ reliability. 6. integrates competitive planning into the company’s strategies. 7. Identifies key competitive parameters. 8. Communicates these parameters to the application administrator. 9. Brings isolated bits together for clear-cut competitive illustrations. 10. Derive conclusive and tangible results from the illustrations. 11. Incorporate these results into short and long term planning. 12. Use information generated in making decisions. |
| Unauthorized Personnel | These are employees who for one reason or another can not access Softium Intelligent Office within your company. That does not mean they don’t encounter competitive information. Rather, they should be instructed to pass along information to their immediate supervisors who are involved in the program. Subsequently, the supervisors can either enter such information into Softium Intelligent Office or disregard it based on its merits. Motivations, rewards, incentives, recognition and other inducement methods should be implemented to stimulate these employees’ degree of involvement in the company’s competitive program. |
